On Friday Oct 19,2018 at the Santa Clara Public library Randel Mc Gee, will demonstrate decorative paper cutting and tell stories at the Santa Clara Branch of the Public Library at  4:00pm. Free and Open to the public.

The early Swiss pioneers of Santa Clara were isolated.  They had no general store to purchase holiday cards. The craft and tradition of decorative paper cutting was used to make commemorative cards.  The Santa Clara Historical Museum has many examples of these early cards on display and some made locally for sale.
